In this topic, I would like you to talk about the school in your country, in order that my characters sound real if I write some part at school or if I talk about homework. And that's interesting to know what we learn in other countries.

1. First, I would like to know in which grad we are at which age ? And how you call the schools ? because there is different organization in the different countries.

2. I would like to know what is your program at school for Danish class or Litterature ? Maybe you can copy me the program of you Litterature book for me to see the autors that you study or the book that your teachers ask you to read. You can do that for your grad, and hopefully many fans will come from differents grads

3. I would like to know the same for History.

4. I would like to know the same for Geography.

5. What are the languages that you can learn at school ?

1. First, I would like to know in which grad we are at which age ? And how you call the schools ? because there is different organization in the different countries.
- we start school when we are about 6 years and go in the same school untill we are about 16... we call that "people" school or the main school
- and then we came to a Gymnasium for 3 years, and then we are done in school...

2. I would like to know what is your program at school for Danish class or Litterature ? Maybe you can copy me the program of you Litterature book for me to see the autors that you study or the book that your teachers ask you to read. You can do that for your grad, and hopefully many fans will come from differents grads
- ? We have about alot of stuff in danish of cours, it's kinda hard to explain, 'cause it's danish and I guess you wouldn't understand danish? (:
Well we have a lot of words which is hard to hear the differend but it's spell with or without a "r" in the end..
And then when it's a house or a sun, it's diffrend what "a" is.. with a house we call it "Et hus (a House) and with a sun, we call it "En sol (A sun)
So grammatic danish is a pretty hard languers 'cause there isn't a rule for when it's "et" or "en" we use o.O

3. I would like to know the same for History.
- In History we learn about Denmark, maybe about Denmark when it was the 2. world war.

4. I would like to know the same for Geography.
- Here we learn alot about alot of contries.. How it works, what they are making for the whole world, and what they need to get from other contries

5. What are the languages that you can learn at school ?
- We can learn alot of languers... Of cours we are learning danish and english and then we learn german
In the Gymnasium we can normaly chose between france or spanish

5.

Now I'm just gonna give a short answer for this question, because I wrote like 2 times my answer and it wasn't a short one ... seriously i used a lot of time writing the answer over and over again, but I always pres the Preview buttom, so now I'm really tired ^^

- usually you're able to choose between german and french in school in 6 og 7 grade. from the very beginning we learn Danish and in second class ( it depends on which school you're in) we learn english too ...

In gymnasium ( kind of a high school i think ) we able to continue learning the same language we choosed in school. if we choose to learn a new language, we'll have it on a A level ( a niveau) which means we'll have it for three years. if we continue learning the old language we'll have it on a B- level ( B niveau) which means for to years then we'll be able to raise it to a A level later ^^
In gymnasium it's usually French and Spanish you can choose to learn as a new language. but it depends again on which school you're in, in some schools you can only choose italian as a new language, chinese or a different language .
___
I for example went to a private school, and I learned Danish, english and Arabic ( it was an arabic school that's why )
In sixth grade my class wasn't able to choose between german and French, because my school thought that French was much more important than German so I've been learning french since sixth grade ...

now in the gymnasium I wasn't able to choose German as a new language because my school only wants a German class for thoose who already had it from their previous school. So I should choose between continue having french or learn spanish. and I choosed French . and I'm later going to raise it to a A level ...

Thanks for all the answers !!

You all skipped the questions about the books ;p
I wander what are the popular novels or classical novel that the teachers ask you to read...

Don't be afraid to write too much here, since it's quite a "litterature" forum.

And then you can read in french, Alaa ? I sent you my book in english, but you'll see there are part in french. So I wander if somehow you can help Miss Tralalala who will start a danish translation Very Happy I'm sure that a translation directly from french to danish would be better ^^

well I skipped the rest of the questions because sidsel wrote what I would have said , but on the fifth question I think that I and MSS noticed that it wasn't quite right , that's why we wrote our own answers to that question ^^

but in the danish lessons we usually read books written by danes ... really borring :/

If sidsel wants to she's more than welcome to ask me and I hope that I'll be helpfull for xxtralalala Smile

I have always been complaining that i was learning french, even though i was good at it one of the best in my class, even as good as an algerian who usually speaks french at home... also before i heard about tokio hotel i wanted to learn German because of a friend of mine who used to teach me it , and I knew a lot of german before french.

But since i started in gymnasium where i choosed spanish in the beginning , I kind of felt that it was wrong just stopping french so I changed it again and now i'm continuing with learning french XD
